On Monday, AFT President Randi Weingarten’s keynote speech will lay out the AFT’s effort to ensure that public education pivots to what works to improve public education for all kids. The AFT also will release a national poll on parents’ expectations for public schools. On Tuesday, the AFT will release a report exploring the financial and instructional costs of excessive testing in two medium-sized urban school districts.
