17 more school co-location plans the Bloomberg administration wants to launch before it leaves

Not at all for the first time, the Bloomberg administration is making plans for how its school buildings will be used long after Bloomberg himself is out of office.

Via a press advisory today from the Department of Education, here are 19 new plans that the department is putting forth to begin in 2014 and beyond. Seventeen of them are for co-locations, which have been controversial under Bloomberg, and two are for grade expansions and new schools. All of the plans for changes will come up for vote by the Panel for Educational Policy on Oct. 15.
