"A Night on the Green" is a healthy living initiative hosted by Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. The free event is for families in Nashville that will feature face painting, free healthy snacks, fitness and dance classes, music, a movie and inflatables for kids. The goals — to increase awareness and access to healthier living resources, and connect communities and schools — are in response to the Nashville Youth Violence Summit Report released in March 2016. Lineup: 6:30 p.m. – Activities and Games for Families Begin 6:30 p.m. – Live music with The Dharmabillies 6:45 p.m. – Family Yoga 7:15 p.m. – Family Latin Dance 7:30 p.m. – Live music with Whitney Layne 8:15 p.m. – Movie on the Green, “Open Season”
