Teens Take Charge: Education Roundtable with NYC Candidates
Calling all students, parents, educators, politicians, community leaders, and educational justice seekers: After being featured in the New York Times for its April kick-off event, Teens Take Charge is fired up for another unforgettable night of student-led dialogue about educational inequity. This time, school officials and candidates for elected office will be joining the students on stage for a one-of-a-kind conversation about the most pressing issues in the New York City public school system. We will announce more details and a guest list closer to the day of the event. For now, reserve your ticket and save the date on your calendars. You don't want to miss it. Official Partners: The Bell, Handwritten, New York City Education Council Consortium, Organizing for Action, New York Admission: While admission is free for all, we kindly request donations from adults in advance or at the door to offset the cost of hosting the event.
