New study: 1 in 5 teens has some hearing loss

Are ear buds and iPods and MP3s staples for your teen? This new study, by a researcher at the Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, raises some alarming questions about the impact these devices have on young ears. While the research doesn’t definitively link loud music through ear buds to hearing loss, experts believe that’s exactly what’s happening.
