Parents, what do you want to know about Indianapolis schools? Share your thoughts with us

Calling all parents: What questions do you have about education in Indianapolis?

We at Chalkbeat Indiana want to hear from parents — you and your family are at the center of our school systems, and your input can help inform our coverage. That’s why we’re holding our second annual listening tour event Thursday night to introduce ourselves and get to know you.

The theme of our event is “What do you want to know about Indianapolis schools?” So come with your questions and concerns, and we’ll do our best to answer them or include them in future coverage.

Come to the MLK Center, 40 W 40th St. in Indianapolis, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., for our free event. We’ll serve dinner and discuss what’s important to you and what you need to know more about in education. Child care is available, too.

Please RSVP here.

We’re excited to connect directly with more parents. If you can’t make it, you can read up on the stories we plan to follow this year, and please drop us a line anytime at in.tips@chalkbeat.org.
