The Brooklyn Bar Association Presents:
“Bong Hits 4 Jesus” and the Evolving Law of Public School Free Expression

Presentation by: David C. Bloomfield, Esq., Educational Leadership Program Head and Professor, Brooklyn College

This seminar will review recent case law in the field of student and faculty free expression, with emphasis on New York City public school practices.  Issues covered will include dress codes and uniforms, internet and other off-campus speech, gang-related and sexually provocative dress, political and religious expression, and other current issues.  Bring your own stories of student/teacher behavior for discussion.

The cost of the program is $50 Pre-registered Brooklyn Bar Members; $60 Pre-registered Non-Members and $70 Day-of registration for both Members and Non-Members. Financial aid is available.
