Rise & Shine: One Memphis school shoots for the stars

Have you ever been to a planetarium? Keshawn Glover hadn't until last week when he got to experience Craigmont High School's revamped planetarium for the first time. It was shut down in 2010 and the equipment languished, but $100,000 in restorations have made it operational again.

For Glover, the moment had history, as he remembered his father talking about field trips to Craigmont’s planetarium decades ago. How did it measure up? “It feels like you’re in a roller coaster,” said Glover, a Craigmont senior. “I was just amazed because it was my first time seeing it work full speed.”
