A multimedia re-imagining of the classic Japanese love story between Kiyohime and Anchin, their destiny and transformation.
Elements of drama, Japanese history and Buddhism come to life in this entertaining performance combining dance and theater. Spanning from the historic Dojoji temple to modern day Tokyo, the action-packed adventure also draws influence from the anime and harajuku culture.
School Matinees include a study guide developed in accordance with the NYC Arts Learning blueprints that with activities that help students think critically about the themes explored during the show, and a post-show talk-back with the artists!
