Anti-budget cuts rally

On Wednesday, September 23, at 11 a.m., join parents, advocates, union leaders, and elected officials at a press event to speak out against mid-year cuts to education. In the coming weeks, Governor Paterson will convene the legislature to consider budget cuts to close a $2.1 billion revenue shortfall. New York has a moral and Constitutional obligation to provide all children with a quality education. Nonetheless, our children have gone without adequate funding for far too long. Say NO to MID-YEAR CUTS to Education!

Money makes a difference in improving our schools and our children’s education!
